CBI Interactive Whiteboard Project - DEC, ICS, CESI

(In case you arrive at this page via an Internet Search, click here to get to the CBI Project Homepage)

Classroom Resources for use with Promethean ActivInspire (or, in many cases, its predecessor ActivPrimary): As part of our CBI Project, the teachers in the Project created a number of files. Since the Project ended, teachers continue to develop and share files. These files are for classroom, non-commercial use; please respect the teachers' copyright. A resource can take two hours to produce: if you use more than one of these resources, I insist(!) that you create and share your own resource(s): please email these to ....Ní neart go cur le chéile :-)

Note that you must have ActivInspire software installed on your computer in order to read these files...or you can download a free Personal Edition from careful with the License conditions!>

You will also need to register on the site (this last part is useful in that it will give you access to the Promethean Planet resources as well as the software). SMART Notebook and Mimio Studio (and perhaps others) can also 'read' these Promethean files (.flp in the case of SMART and .flipchart in the case of MimioStudio). Note that you do not need to register on this CBIproject website in order to access our resources.

There are so many files here :-) that you will have to scroll down both the inner and outer windows :-(

To learn how to install an Irish Dictionary (from Gaelspell) in the original ACTIVprimary, Tim Tuckey has provided this text document Click for Gaelspell (you will need Word, Word Viewer or StarOffice to read this) ...I haven't tried it in Inpsire. Modifications to your software are at your own risk!
