(In case you arrive at this page via an Internet Search, click here to get to the CBI Project Homepage)

This a page of classroom resources for the Interactive Whiteboard Project.

Please let us know of any other useful resources you come across by sending an email to: whiteboards@cesi.ie

N.B. before you download and/or run files from the internet, make sure they come from a reliable source and also make sure to run your own anti-virus check on them. Also check the copyright to see if you can use and/or distribute the files

Note the File Extensions: these will you what whiteboard or other software is needed to run the files. They are also useful if you just want to search for the particular file types on your computer or on the Internet. There are a number of interactive Macromedia Flash activities available online ....look for the file extension .swf. Microsoft PowerPoint (or its PowerPoint Viewer) uses .ppt as the file extension; these files will also open in StarOffice. Microsoft Excel (or its Excel Viewer) uses .xls; note that a number of these files will not open in StarOffice. Files that end with .exe are stand-alone programs and will run directly.
